I get so many emails any time I try to put anything Christian on this blog... Um, excuse me people... I AM A CHRISTIAN! What do you expect? I wonder if other people with Christian blogs get so much flack??
So, I'm returning Prairie Dreams to its regularly scheduled non-personal politically correct posts, and I've created a new blog under a new account so that I can share my faith with like minded people in peace... If you want to read the new blog, I'll put your name on the list, but comments will be moderated.
Actually, my environmental posts get attacked too... and people wonder why I've been absent so much from the blog world!? Its like, "Come on back so we can drag you down some more!"
If it isn't my personal life, and it isn't environmental news, what exactly do people want to hear on this blog? I am who I am... these are the things that interest me, and if I'm writing it for myself I may as well make it private and let no one else read it... Hmmm, now there's an idea...

That is what I meant when I said we must have freedom in the church. When "Christians" tell one another what they must do to be a Christian there is no freedom. Seems to me that Jesus came to set us free of all that stuff but we want to put the bonds back on and in the process we "judge one another.
Sort of like the people who are going to be shocked when they get to heaven and find out there are no denominational dividing lines there...
Gosh, I am sorry you having trouble again with the comments. They are emailing too? That is just crazy.
My thought is if you don't care for what someone has to say...you certainly do not have to read them. We are guests here and should mind our manners.

I seem to have more prolems than most... maybe God is using these rude people to help me define my true beliefs... nothing will get you thinking about your beliefs than having to defend them :)
Anita, its your blog. Do what you want with it.I was born Christian and raised that way.This country was made from God fearing men and women.
A lot of people died so we could be free....The people need to find a new place to live if they don't want freedom.By harassing you and and trying to force you to change is taking away your choice and freedom.
Lets send them to Africa or China and see how long they make it:) Believe me, when they get hungry and start losing their freedom, they WILL call on God.

I'll take the new link too, but...I thought that was what Anita's Real Life was for. Somewhere where you could just be yourself and say what you wanted without judgment.
Anita's Real Life was getting to the point that I was leaving out things I thought might cause debate... I read a lot of Christian blogs and don't see debate... I want a nice peaceful blogging experience... lol

but Anita's Real Life was just supposed to be friends right? Why on earth would they want to debate? Some debate is healthy, but sometimes you just can't defend your belief. Will you still blog there anymore?
The new blog will have real life in it... I've changed a lot since I started Anita's REal Life. The new blog isn't private, its just under a different account and comments will be "heavily moderated"... lol
I also don't intend to reply to most comments in comments, I will use email to reply... I have commented on the ones that are there because they are from my Uncle Larry, the pastor from Alabama :)
