My poor baby truck... I love my truck, but there is just no fixing it this time! I do have my eye on a replacement, I just hope we get things straightened out before someone else buys it!
Since the tornado I have learned a lot: about life, about priorities, about people here in Greensburg, ... and about myself. I'm a blog-crazy, stay at home homeschooling mom, addicted to pink roses and rusty things...
I am unapologetically Christian and conservative, although some Christians question my methods.
I am living MY OWN authentic life, as the person God created me to be. I believe in living simply, and that has served my family well in these tumultuous times.
If I had my way, I'd live in a tiny house in the middle of no where, surrounded by vegetable and herb gardens, making tinctures, oils, and teas to help people, wandering my gardens in long skirts and wild hair... spending my winters reading, writing, knitting and quilting...
"But in my life, I have also learned that hope is found in unlikely places; that inspiration often comes not from those with the most power or celebrity, but from the dreams and aspirations of Americans who are anything but ordinary. " ~President Barack Obama
It's too bad closed minds don't come with closed mouths.

can I say, "ouch!" that poor truck needs a fixin'
Well, it was totalled last year for a taillight out, a few dents and a missing passenger side mirror... so now its toast... :(
A few dents??? Looks like someone ran into the side of it...hope no one was hurt. yep...I do believe it is time for another truck. I love pickups...
Goodbye green truck. I hope you get the one you have your eye on before anyone else snags it.
The "few dents" were last year after the tornado, that's when they totalled it and we bought it back from the insurance company...
We're going to the bank today, and maybe we'll pick the new one (new to us, it's an '02) up today, too! *sigh* - lots of ifs still, though... :)
