I've been tagged!

New from BJ...

Here's the rules:

1) Open the closest book to you, not your favorite or most intellectual book, but the book closest to you at the moment, to page 56.

2) Write out the 5th sentence, as well as two to five sentences following...

"The Wright Brothers and Their Sister", by Lois Mills

"This kind of act was the beginning of a friendship between Chanute and the Wrights which was to last as long as they lived.
Will and Orv kept on reading. And the more they read the more surprised they were. Not one of the men they read about seemed to have solved the problem of keeping his balance in the air. That was it - you must keep your balance. Then the glider will not fall."

(figures it would be a home school book!!lol)

I know people are busy.. so IF you'd like to do this meme, then make sure to let me know so I can check out your version!

Looks like a cool book. :) I've done this meme. Have a good day...it's cold, cloudy and windy here. Thank Heaven for the wood furnace. (dh has lost quite a bit of weight since he started cutting and chopping wood) Good exercise!

Fun meme Anita.
My version is here-

Thought of you this morning with the cooler weather. Are you freezing? It's a bit chilly in the house, I might have to turn the furnace on for a short bit.

anajz - Whatever the temp is outside is the temp inside if we don't have the heat on... there is no insulation at all in these trailers... we have the heat set at 60 and I'm still wearing at least 2 layers at all times and never take my shoes off (and I HATE wearing shoes in the house!!!)
Sometimes during the day it's not too bad, as long as the wind isn't blowing... and really, when does the wind NOT blow out here!??

BJ - :) Isaiah loved the book... even though he says he still never wants to ride in a plane! (that could have something to do with the fact that Rick and I have never been in a plane, either!)

Jen - I can't wait to get a house and put in a wood stove... *sigh* I never dreamed that we'd be in this thing for two years when we moved in!!!!
