Sustainable Cities Award Pt. 2

Do you remember THIS POST where I told you about the Sustainable Cities Award?
Stephen Hardy, AICP, LEED AP, Associate, BNIM Architects, who has been working on the development of downtown Greensburg along with Emily Lloyd (SH and EL - forgive me if I spell anything wrong! If you're wondering, I was sitting right behind you...lol), went to London to accept the award. He presented it to the council this evening. I was at the city council meeting to take notes for Daniel (GreenTown Guru), so I got to hear more about the award. It's just one more amazing thing that has happened in the last year. What an honor!

Wish I would have had my camera, I can't seem to find a picture of the award anywhere onlline!

I'm glad that you got out of the house and went to the meeting. I know you said you don't like the bickering that can go on at those meetings. But everyone was probably in a good mood because of the award.
